Design Studio

The Studio is where thoughts are conceptualized by combining new age effervescence and sophisticated designs. Situated in Mumbai, the GM Syntex Design studio is spread across a lavish 2500 sq feet area. Heading the Design Department, Chanya Kaur, (alumni of the Kent Institute of Art and Design, UK) aspires to revolutionize the concept of home furnishing in India by setting new design benchmarks with her talent & creative vision.

We have a fully equipped Design Studio with 15 skilled Designers who work relentlessly to keep in line with the changing demands of our customers. Our design team features Indian & European designers who brainstorm to come up with exclusive designs. At every stage (conceptualizing, styling & manufacturing) their creative inputs play an important role in enhancing the quality of the finished product. To ensure excellent designs and highest quality of fabrics, everything in relation to Textile designing & production is handled in house.

To enhance the creativity of our designers, our Design studio is well-equipped with:

  • Design inspiration books & magazines
  • Latest Software (AVA for color, Corel draw, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Advanced Printers

We annually participate in several International Home Textile Exhibitions with 4 Main Collections and simultaneously work on client projects as well. Each & every Collection is an outcome of a comprehensive and steady work of research, development and design by our creative team. Our designers travel abroad and attend several events, fairs & tradeshows in order to keep up with the latest trends in the world of Home Décor Textiles. Inspiration is drawn from our natural habitat & surroundings with a close eye on the current trends. Designers are allotted their specific areas of work whereby they come up with brilliant ideas & suggestions. Inspiration is given to them from where they take it forward. At GM Syntex, we give our talented Designers, a free hand and a fair opportunity to prove their creativity. Once designs are put together, the color work is conducted as per the palette and a Collection is thus formulated (sometimes exactly as per the client’s specifications)
